Nutshell 1.3.1 is here and it has a great new headline feature - Google Sign In.
Why Google Sign In?
Nutshell started as a Google Chrome Extension which helps you quickly find recipes on a page. Later came the Nutshell Recipe Keeper Web Application. It turns out that some users may use a PC or Mac to browse and research recipes, but when it comes to cooking, a phone or tablet are more convenient.
Our new Google Sign In feature lets you sign in to the Nutshell Web App and access all your recipes, on all kinds of devices. Keep in mind, however, that you still need to save recipes via the Chrome Extension,Tidy Your History - Forget Individual Recipes
Sometimes, we look at several variations of a recipe before we find the one or two that we’d like to try. Your Nutshell recipe history can get cluttered with discarded options, so we have introduced a “Forget” button to your Recipe History. The icon for this button happens to be , but we think forget is a more diplomatic way to describe it.Introducing Nutshell’s Own Recipes
From today, you’ll be able to find original Nutshell recipes right here on our blog. Leading the assault on your tastebuds is Chili Con Carne. Give it a try, and don’t forget to add it to your Recipe Organiser by clicking the Nutshell Extension Button!
